Liza Veeneman has expertise in the mathematics of investing, including mean-variance optimization and other forms of linear programming, securities analysis, and investment manager performance measurement.
She is also an experienced software developer. She has designed algorithms to perform complex investment and other mathematical calculations, and she has considerable experience designing user interfaces, creating help systems for end users, and web site design.
Prior to moving to California, Liza served two terms in office as a member of the Lincolnshire- Prairie View School District 103 Board of Education in Lincolnshire, Illinois, where she was a member of the Board’s Finance and Technology committees.
Liza has served in a variety of community and charitable positions over the past twenty years, while raising three children. She is a co-author of Parents, Teens, and the Law, published to educate parents and their children on legal rights and responsibilities. She has previously served on the Boards of Directors of the Kentucky Council on Child Abuse.
Liza holds the Certified Financial Planner® designation. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University in 1974 and did graduate work in mathematics at the University of Louisville. She taught mathematics and science for several years in Louisville, Kentucky.
